At the Brownwood Lyric Theatre, we've seen how live theatre changes lives - onstage, backstage, and in the audience. This Giving Tuesday, we're inviting you to help us bring a big, green fairy tale to life: Shrek the Musical in the Summer of 2026! Our goal is to raise $7,500 to help cover royalties, rights to perform the musical, which need to be paid by the end of December 2025. With 150 friends giving $50, we will raise the curtain on a summer production that will engage 100+ volunteers in acting, set construction, costumes, music, and event support - and welcome thousands of neighbors and visitors to downtown Brownwood.
